‘The account of what happens in Nepal is pretty horrific, frightening, graphically and realistically described, replete with images and smells and tastes that will stay with me a long time…This is a book that will have everyone feverishly turning the pages into the early hours.’

‘There is a wonderful sense of place, particularly the setting in Nepal and there is darkness to the plot which made me worry for the four friends and added to the sense of fear as I turned the page….C L Taylor has certainly found her place in this genre and I’m very much looking forward to the next book.’
My Reading Corner

‘What I enjoyed about this read was its bleakness, strangely enough. It seemed to have a great deal to say on the fragility of friendships and the sadness of toxic relationships.’

Dark, creepy and tenacious. The Lie makes you desire more of Taylor’s texts. She is the master of trills.
