My first crime event in TWO YEARS!

CL Taylor taking part in the Quiz at Bloody Scotland in 2019 (L to r: Richard Osman, CL Taylor, Susi Holliday, Mark Billingham).

Two years since I last took part in a live, in person, crime event – I can’t quite believe it. I should have taken part in Harrogate Crime Festival this summer but Covid (me getting it!) put paid to that. And the pandemic put paid to all the events I had planned for last year.

So, I couldn’t be more excited to be taking part in Bloody Scotland this September. I won’t be on the quiz team this year (although I will definitely be watching) but I will be on a panel with Susi Holliday and Elle Connel called ‘And Then There Were Three‘ which will be about how Agatha Christie’s ‘And Then There Were None’ influenced our books.

If you live near Stirling or fancy a weekend away you can buy a ticket to our event here. And if you can’t get away you can watch it digitally from the comfort of your own home by buying a ticket here.

If you do watch us in person feel free to bring any of my books you’d like me to sign and, if you are missing any, there will be an on site bookshop.

There are lots of other events to enjoy too, in person and digitally, including:

  • The Science of Murder
  • The Fun Loving Crime Writers (music)
  • Pitch Black Humour in crime
  • Stephen King and Linwood Barclay in conversation
  • Nordic Noir
  • The Red Hot Chilli Writers live podcast
  • The quiz!

And there’s lots more too. Do check out the full programme to see what you can buy tickets for in person, and digitally. Hopefully see you there!
